Maddie called today an M&M Day – a Maddie and Mummy Day – as she had the day off school for parent-teacher conferences. We had such fun – with a great report from school, swimming in Guildford, making Rice Krispy treats, wrapping Christmas presents and checking in at our new house. Our rubbish pile continues to grow as we expose more of our Georgian floorboards. Found some gorgeous wide planks upstairs today. They will sand and refinish beautifully.
