It’s been one month since we got the keys to Curfew House and we have finished a plumbing upgrade with a new boiler, finished rewiring, have repaired the lathe and plaster ceilings, replastered one partition wall, plastered around the new electric sockets, removed all the carpets, started sanding floors, started removing old wallpaper and today installed seven new beautiful radiators. Our flooring specialists started today. Their first step has been to remove boards that they need to replace with reclaimed timber. So we’ve moved from making holes in walls to making holes in the floor! But it is all needed progress! Continue reading December 5: Holes
