It was Maddie’s first day back at school and the start of 6th Grade. I dropped her off only to have my car break down in the school lot. I had to leave it there because I had a taxi to the airport one hour later! Ending the day in Washington DC, having flown via Iceland. Called Maddie en route to hear she had a great first day.
