We had quite a laid back Saturday. Fall is well and truly here.
We went to the science centre today!
Had a wonderful day off work with Maddie today and then a lovely evening with Richard at the Best Business Women Awards where I was proud to be a finalist.
It’s nice to be in the office and spend time in Chertsey. This morning I went on a pre-dawn run.
I was lucky to spend today with this sweet girl. She gave me a run for my money in the swimming pool!
I used some of our many courgettes to bake cake.
We ran in Windsor and Eton this morning before a day in the garden.
I took a picture of the cherub in my shower before checking out of my room, because each morning it made me smile.
I ran 10K today. The first 5k was in the morning. The second was in the afternoon during a downpour.
We ended our day today with a three and a half hour meal.

It was a busy day with a run in Chertsey this morning while Rich did the Palace to Palace bike ride, then some leaf raking with Maddie before my flight to Gressy in France. Spotted this in my run.
We went to Carter’s Steam Fair – such fun.
I worked with a great group of people today, in a room with an incredible view over London.
We ran first thing and then I worked all day while we had our chimneys swept.
I really noticed the leaves starting to change on my morning run.
Helen and I ran the Windsor 10k this morning and we really had fun. I was proud to run in support of Teach for America Detroit!
Back home in time for another harvest at Curfew House Garden.
After a great week working in Detroit, I am heading home on my wedding anniversary.
We visited an inspiring school today as part of our work in Detroit.
After a day of action learning, we ate dinner at Bank Suey and were introduced to the fun Detroit-only game of Fowling.
We had an amazing day in Detroit today. I’m really lucky to do the work I do.
We are staying at a cool hotel in Detroit that was once a fire station. Our work kicked off this evening!
